Description
Angel ..... or NOT!For the ::Halloween contest::
Started out with a pencil sketch on tinted paper. Then redid the lines with a fine black marker pen. Scanned it in and coloured in PS. All in all it took about 7 hours to finish it. The original size of it is about 2000X4000 pix.
It s not meant to be very detailed as it is a cartoon
I think she has a very angelic/pouty/ give me the damn kandy look.
Hope you like it.
C&C welcome.
Cheers,
Edite

I like the traditional 'old card' effect from this, but with a twist in it's tail. I also like the sweeping curves to the gown 'n the cute pidgeon-toed position of her feet.
Everything about this has a high cutidity factor. Love it!
Well done Edite ! +10

It looks like she is flying though... how bout just a thin line in the background to give a horizon?

Some of the outlines lose their power. Maybe they should be more consistent, like on the head.

The saturated background kinda fights the figure for dominance, but overall, for you are definitely getting the hang of coloring in PS.
oh, and just get a horizon line in there will ya?
